About

Vitalise Wellington’s primary objectives are to organize and host community events, performances, installations, and public gatherings that foster cultural enrichment, social inclusion, and active participation from all members of the public. Additionally, it aims to collaborate with Wellington City Council, the New Zealand Police, and other regulatory bodies to improve safety, reduce crime, and enhance the beauty of public spaces and streets within Wellington City. The Society is also dedicated to advancing education by providing training and development opportunities for individuals working in or aspiring to join the hospitality industry.

Historically, Courtenay Place has been an important part of Wellington’s urban landscape. The precinct features a mix of heritage buildings and modern structures, contributing to its unique streetscape.
